Birthday Cards..

Two of my girlfriends are turning the dirty 30 in the next few weeks. Leia's party is this weekend in Geelong and I am so disappointed that I'm not going to be attending. For those of you that don't know, Leia and I went to school together, attended each others 21st, been each others bridesmaids, been pregnant together and always manage to salvage our friendship when the chips have been down. So it is quite upsetting for me not to be part of her 30th birthday celebrations.

The other 30th is Narelle's and it is in two weeks time. I was lucky enough to meet Narelle through a mutual friend four years ago. Narelle is so easy going, funny and care free, it would be near impossible not to like her.
So the last few nights when everyone is sleeping I have been making birthday cards for these two special ladies, and I thought I would stop by and share them with you. They are both similar in design, as it was my first attempt at teabag folding but I'm pretty happy with how they have turned out.

Absolutely superb Miss Jess! Your incredible talents would be a sure winner with an online store!!! ... Fantastic, you should run some card / scrap days, I'd be a participant to learn from such a creative guru!

Both gorgeous cards, I saw one in real life too. I have never tried that technique, but you have done a great job Jess :)
