"A Very Little Project"

My ugly, boring, empty bedside chest of draws finally got the better of me. I have had these raw pine, wobbly knobbed draws for around 4 years which I brought for $5.00 from a garage sale.

I have also looked at them for the last four years saying to myself that I'm going to revamp them so they didn't look so distasteful next to my bed, but alas I just never seemed to get around to it, until today.

Living in a house that has been renovated (still being renovated) you can always find half full paint cans, so I went in search of a suitable colour which would blend in with my bedroom feature wall. Luckily we had plenty of Birchwood paint left from our backroom that was ideal. So equipped with my paint and brush, I parked myself on the front veranda.
After I had completed the job of painting I realised that I needed a little something just to make them look that little bit prettier, so I used a dragonfly transfer from my scrapbook supplies.
I was quite happy with the end product and now all I need to do is fill them up with baby clothes.

The dragonfly adds that beautiful simple, yet classic final touch! Done a great job Miss J!!!
